Healthy Diet
There are many ways to eat healthy. From a
very young age, we learn that healthy diet composes of a
variety of food groups. You have to get your daily protein,
carbohydrates, vegetables, fruits, vitamins as well as fat. The
US Department of Agriculture has come up with the healthy diet
food pyramid to help you determine what a healthy diet is.
There are recommended servings of fruits and vegetables that
you should have each day.

Eating less fatty foods and food with no
trans fat have become more and more popular as more and more
people are watching their calories, carb intake and trying very
hard to stay away from doctors and hospitals. Yet, few people
are living healthy and eating healthy. Why? According to our
surveys, most people are too busy to follow the rules and a
large percentage of the people who are trying to follow the
rules mistakenly thought that they were getting the daily
dosage of fruit and vegetables just because they eat a lot of
fruits and veggie.
What they don't realize is that it does not
take 1-2 apples a day for a healthy diet, it takes 20+ a day.
This staggering amount of fruit and vegetable is just not
practical to consume a day. We will discuss the reasons why you
need so much fruits and vegetables nowadays to meet the
recommended servings a day as well as how to eat the
recommended servings.
